Entrepreneur Visas
The Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa was designed for non-EEA nationals who wished to establish or take over a business in the UK. Though the category has now closed to new applicants, existing visa holders can still apply for visa extensions or Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), provided they meet specific requirements. These include investing a minimum of £200,000 into a UK business, creating at least two full-time jobs, and actively managing the business. Entrepreneur visa holders must also demonstrate genuine entrepreneurial activity and meet English language and maintenance criteria. If your application is refused, there are legal remedies available, including administrative reviews or appeals. For tailored advice or to challenge a refusal, professional legal support is strongly recommended.
