Seasonal Worker Visa – Temporary Work

Seasonal Worker Visa

The UK Seasonal Worker Visa is designed for individuals who have secured employment in the United Kingdom for specific short-term roles in either horticultural activities or poultry production. To qualify, applicants must hold a valid job offer from a UK-based employer authorised under the official seasonal worker scheme.

Under this visa category, individuals engaged in horticultural tasks such as harvesting fruit, vegetables, or flowers are permitted to reside and work in the UK for up to six months within any rolling 12-month period. For those involved in poultry production, the permitted timeframe is strictly seasonal, running from 2 October to 31 December annually.

It is important to note that the Seasonal Worker Visa does not lead to permanent residency in the UK. Additionally, visa holders are not eligible to bring dependants, including spouses or children, under this immigration route.

This visa pathway is facilitated by a regulated immigration consultancy with expertise in handling temporary worker applications, ensuring full compliance with UK Home Office requirements.
